The SOHAM project was conceived to enhance the territory of Minucciano, a place defined by silence, tranquility, unspoiled nature, and the historical presence of marble quarries. Through a circular design approach, the project aims to create a functional and innovative design element using marble processing waste. The idea behind the project is to create a space dedicated to immersive meditation, capable of promoting the inner well-being of individuals. The ergonomic seat, made from marble waste materials, is designed to improve posture and comfort during outdoor meditative practice. The concept of SOHAM is rooted in the relationship between silence, well-being, and nature. Silence is seen as an element that amplifies sensory perception and facilitates inner reflection. The seat is designed to offer correct posture and promote better circulation during meditation, even in extended sessions.

In parallel, the project introduces sensory elements inspired by the four natural elements, which enhance the meditative experience through the diffusion of white noise. These sounds, which evoke natural phenomena such as wind, flowing water, or the sound of gravel, promote concentration and connection with the surrounding environment. From a technical perspective, the seat production uses recovered marble dust mixed with eco-resins, innovative materials derived from renewable resources. This approach reduces environmental impact compared to traditional materials, as eco-resins reduce CO₂ emissions and promote a circular economy. The production process includes mixing, molding, and finishing phases, with attention to the aesthetic and functional quality of the final product. Each seat thus becomes a unique piece, symbol of an authentic bond between material, territory, and well-being.

The result is a durable, aesthetically refined object that integrates perfectly into the natural context. The project not only promotes physical and mental well-being through meditation and contact with nature, but also valorizes local resources and reduces waste, creating a sustainable meditative experience deeply connected to the identity of the place.
