Visit of the Minucciano Delegation to the Design Campus: Preview of Bauhaus4MED Student Projects

Avatar: Official post Official post

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025, the Bauhaus4MED team from the Tuscany Region, together with a delegation from the Municipality of Minucciano led by the Mayor, visited the Design Campus in Calenzano, home to the Department of Architecture (DiDA) at the University of Florence.

During the meeting, held in the presence of professors Giuseppe De Luca and Giuseppe Lotti, a preview of the student projects from the Design for Sustainability course was presented as part of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) program. These projects are the result of a collaborative process between the university, local institutions, and the territory, with a particular focus on the sustainable and creative regeneration of inner areas.

The visit was a meaningful moment of exchange and dialogue, offering the opportunity to present the students’ design proposals to the local community and the institutional stakeholders involved. Developed in synergy with the Municipality of Minucciano, the projects propose concrete and innovative solutions for the sustainable revitalization of the territory, aligned with the core values of the NEB: beauty, sustainability, and inclusion.

This initiative is part of Bauhaus4MED, a regional project that promotes the application of the New European Bauhaus values in the Mediterranean context, encouraging the active participation of young people and local communities in the ecological and cultural transition.
