This meeting constitutes Session 1 of the transnational peer review process under Activity A1.5 – Transnational Verification of Tested Solutions of the MED BAUHAUS project. The session brings together pilot teams and a transnational panel of reviewers to assess and discuss three pilot initiatives: Montalto, Toscana, and Sarajevo.
The meeting begins with a short welcome and overview of the objectives and review process. Each pilot team will then present its solution, including the context, implementation approach, and alignment with New European Bauhaus (NEB) principles. After each presentation, reviewers will ask clarification questions to better understand the project’s design choices, evidence, and local context.
Following the presentations, the review panel will hold a joint NEB evaluation discussion, reflecting on the pilots in relation to the three NEB dimensions: Sustainability, Aesthetics / Quality of Experience, and Inclusion. The panel will then provide a short synthesis highlighting key strengths, gaps, and recommendations.
The session will conclude with an opportunity for pilot teams to ask questions to the reviewers, followed by a brief wrap-up and outline of next steps in the peer review process. Insights gathered during this session will contribute to improving the pilot solutions and to the development of shared learning across the project.
